The Yankee Rebels have been together since the 1960's. Over the years they have won eight first prizes at Bluegrass band contests. Two of the three founding members, Art Dekhayser on guitar and Les Bayer on banjo are joined by Mark Farrell on mandolin, Bill Christophersen on fiddle and Allen Cohen on upright bass to recreate past triumphs and forge ahead with traditional style Bluegrass that sounds at home in the 21st century.
